Postcards from my dad....

Whenever my dad would go on far away trips,
he would always send us postcards.
He always kept in touch!
Since he moved over to the other side in November,
he keeps in touch from there too.
Today my little guy Luke made me watch this you tube video,,,
very resistant I was .....
funny how dad picked his messenger today.
I love you dad.

Have you ever visited a home
where all the shoes are sitting by
the inside of the door?
Shoes lined up, no shoes allowed inside the home?!!
Nice, right?! Makes sense.

Well, not that I have alot of visitors
Ever...........
but I am truly considering that
cell phones be treated similarly to that
Of the whole shoes Øff rule.

IN real time I would like to sit & Visit
to be in the now.
I am finding that it's more and more difficult
for some to be without the phone in hand....
checking one thing or another....
it;s one thing to be waiting for an important call~

But come ON>
you know who you are
or maybe you don;'t!

I ask~
have you observed your behavior...
have you questioned your inner needs
to check and recheck
the phone......

to converse with others far away
while in company with those in the presence of the now?

Just wondering...
Why is the phone such a priority
where social media is concerned.
And to those that NEED it,
similar to an addiction......

it's that I wonder.......
 If the inner awareness
of behaviors has occurred
Then .......
perhaps this is acceptable?


like shoes in a house
some want you to remove the shoes before
entering
and some don"t mind......
