NOthing But Corporate Government Turning Our Schools Into a Money Making Scheme......

Governor Cuomo and Education Chancellor Tisch have stated that there is a crisis in NYS based solely on common core assessments. Other measures, such as the NAEP show that, although not on top, NYS has shown improvement over time and is at or near the national average in reading and math.

Governor Cuomo has not released the aid package for schools and will not end the GEA, a measure that took money from education to help pay a state deficit that no longer exists. Local school districts will need to raise local taxes to make up the difference.

Send a letter or post card. Yes, a real letter or post card, stamped and everything, to Chancellor Tisch

Merryl H. Tisch, Chancellor
Regents Office
State Education Building
89 Washington Avenue
Albany, N.Y. 12234

There is no crisis in New York State education according to more reliable measures than the common core assessments. In light of your collusion with Governor Cuomo in creating a crisis in NYS education that does not exist, I have no confidence in your ability to lead. I respectfully request that you resign.

The Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo
Governor of New York State,
NYS State Capitol Building,
Albany, NY 12224

You are not the advocate for my (child, children, grandchildren, students), I am. As a constituent I am demanding that you end the Gap Elimination Adjustment and stop holding school aid hostage in your spat with the teachers’ union.

Feel free to personalize your letter.
